Two suites located above Willie's Bakery provide affordable, fun, and surprisingly stylish accommodations in the heart of the city. The front suite is a large, elegantly fumished studio with a bed/sitting room that opens into a dining room and full kitchen. Bright colors and cheerful accents, upscale furniture, high ceilings, large windows, and plenty of space make this a great home base for exploring Victoria. The second unit, a one-bedroom suite, overlooks the alley and patio of the II Terrazzo restaurant. The living room is painted red, which goes surprisingly well with the wood floors and funky furniture; the bedroom (with a king-size bed) is done in softer tones. The bathroom has a lovely claw-foot tub, breakfast is included and served at the bakery, parking is free, and you have your own front door.

Housed in a handsome Victorian building near Market Square, this bakery-cafe serves wholesome breakfasts, rich soups, delicious sandwiches made with house-baked bread, tasty baked treats, and house-made gelato. The brick patio with an outdoor fireplace and fountain is a great place to watch the world go by.

In an excellent off-street location down Waddington Alley, Isabella's two gorgeous self-contained suites are in the heart of Victoria's SoJo bar-hopping, shopping and dining district. The suites include huge beds, full kitchens, claw-foot tubs and chic furnishings.

This pair of immaculate, self-contained, adult-oriented suites near the middle of downtown is a real find if you're looking for an elegant, refined sleepover that nevertheless has a homely ambiance. While the unassuming building - the entrance is tucked down an alleyway on the second floor - is a red-brick heritage structure, there's nothing old or outdated about the accommodation once you get inside. Each suite has its own exterior entrance and both are decorated in modern-classic style, with hardwood floors, high ceilings and quality wooden furnishings. Both also have full kitchens so you can cook, although guests usually head downstairs to the bakery for breakfast. The bakery is owned by the same people, so you'll receive gift vouchers to dine down here (the eggs benny are recommended). While each suite only has one bed, cots can also be provided.

Testimonials

Loved it!

I went to Willie's on a Thursday morning and found that there was no wait to be seated and was eating breakfast 10 minutes later. The staff was very friendly and available. I ordered pancakes and home fries along with oj and coffee. The extra large pancakes were smothered in mixed berries and served with real maple syrup. The home fries were baked and then fried. I was very pleased with Willie's. It was very enjoyable and the food delicious. The best coffee in Victoria!
